Relebogile Maifadi

I am Relebogile Moiponi Maifadi, a multifaceted creative’, qualified Media Practitioner (Radio & Broadcasting major), Film graduate, founder of Tshukiri Media, and now Digital Media Intern.

My passion is deeply rooted in speech, reading, and writing; I knew immediately that the Media space is the industry I’m destined to be and thrive in. I studied Media Practices (specialized in Radio & Broadcasting) at Boston Media House. That afforded me the opportunity to work at Tshwane FM as the entertainment news reader and compiler and did my work integrated work experience at Kaya FM and GCIS (Department of Communications & Information Systems). With the seemingly vast experience, it wasn’t enough to acquire myself secure employment, I went from gig to gig, exploitation, being overworked & underpaid. In between my gigs, I continued to be in constant pursuit of new opportunities, which led to my enrollment in Film School…I got a learnership from The Leaders in Motion Academy which geared me up to think beyond the norm, ignite my entrepreneurial spirit and rid the narrative of starving creatives. I started my own company “Tshukiri Media – Pioneers of Creative Excellence” A creative solutions consultancy/agency, a platform that allows creatives to be they authentic selves and educate them on financial literacy and how to be corporate savvy with their art. It is women led and that has enabled me to opulent opportunities that taught me how to improve my interpersonal skills, manage people accordingly and common expectations from clients. I now define myself boldly as a corporate creative, a woman breaking all barriers in a male dominated industry and nurturing the human factor when it comes to work ethic, dedication/commitment, & persistence. I believe there is no limit to personal development, I ventured to upskill myself in the “ever-changing times” and landed an opportunity to work with PHD Media as their Digital Media Intern.

Do not take the people you meet, places you find yourself in, and small/big wins for granted. When you have what you need to nourish you, the rest is abundance. The abundance that we all want is already here, LIVE! Embrace all that God has intended you to be.
