Constitution Hill invites the public to share their experiences of the national lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19.

With less than a month to go till the first Afropunk in Africa on the 30th and 31st of December, Afropunk Joburg has announced that singer and TV personality Nandi Madida will host the event at Johannesburg’s Constitution Hill. 

The first Afropunk in Africa takes place at Johannesburg’s Constitution Hill at the end of 2017 and exciting new additions to the lineup have just been announced. Thanks to Afropunk Presents Battle Of The Bands, a hot new South African act will also be gracing the stage. Afropunk is a hotbed of creativity and activism, so of course there will be a variety of vendors and activities to look forward to at Afropunk Joburg on 30 and 31 December 2017. 

The Australasian South African Alliance (ASAA), in partnership with the Australian High Commission in South Africa, Brand South Africa and Constitution Hill, will launch an exhibition titled - Memories of the Struggle: Australians Against Apartheid,  in Johannesburg on Thursday, 2 November 2017 at Constitution Hill at 18h30.

Constitution Hill has won a 2017 South African Museums Association Speaker and Publications award for its website, www.constitutionhill.co.za.

The awards were announced at a ceremony at the Western Cape’s Skilpadvlei Wine Farm on 26 October. The association is the professional body for museums in South Africa and aims to support museum management that promotes the country’s diverse natural and cultural heritage for the enrichment of all South Africans and visitors.
