The popularity of South African National Heritage Site Constitution Hill (ConHill) was reaffirmed at the end of June when the Johannesburg landmark won two sought-after TripAdvisor awards for 2017.

The first, the TripAdvisor 2017 Travellers’ Choice Award for fourth place in the Top 10 Landmarks – South Africa category, effectively positions Constitution Hill in the top 1% of attractions worldwide.

“We’re immensely proud of this achievement, which is testimony to the historical and cultural appeal of ConHill and the important role it plays as a platform for heritage, education and tourism-based programmes,” says Constitution Hill CEO Dawn Robertson.

The second award, a Certificate of Excellence for consistently outstanding reviews, confirms the popularity of the destination among domestic and international visitors.

TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site and a popular destination resource for travellers. It hosts 435-million reviews and opinions, covering 6.8-million hotels and other accommodation options, restaurants and attractions around the world.
