THE HILL HIGHLIGHTS

Conhill Tours X Gautrain Transport Month Activity

What a privilege and honour it was to partner with Gautrain and the Gauteng Provincial Legislature for the special ConHill Tours x Gautrain Transport Month activation!

Under the leadership and support of MEC for Transport, Kedibone Diale-Tlabela, this initiative welcomed elderly community members for a ride on the Gautrain system followed by an inspiring, guided tour of Constitution Hill—a heart-warming way to give back and honour our elders during Transport Month.

A huge thank you to the entire Gautrain and Gauteng Legislature team for partnering with us on this incredible experience. We look forward to many more collaborations that uplift and enrich our communities!

Reclaiming Democracy Workshop & Broadcast

We had the pleasure of hosting the transformative workshop and moderated webinar featuring an Outside Broadcast and dialogue at ConHill in partnership with Kagiso Trust

This initiative aims to strengthen civic awareness and foster meaningful participation in democratic processes—focusing on empowering communities that face barriers to accessing information, engaging public institutions, and holding leaders accountable.

Zero is Greater Exhibition Launch

What if an exhibition could take you from the past, through progress, and into the future? We had the honour of Launching the Zero is greater exhibition in partnership with the Gates Foundation on the 17th of October 2026.

Explore the four-phased journey of Zero is Greater, a new exhibition on view until 13 November 2026 at Constitution Hill.

Visitors will encountered and will encounter  “80,000 Futures,” a participatory installation that asks us to look beyond statistics and remember the people, families, and futures behind the HIV and TB statistics.

From there, “Progress” explores decades of advances in science, treatment, and prevention  and the activists, healthcare workers, researchers, communities and others who helped make that progress possible.

“Possibility” asks how much further we can go.

And “Imagination” leaves us with an open-ended question: What could become possible if HIV and TB no longer shaped so many lives?

Joint Pride: The Village Picnic

You just had to be there!

The energy, the love, the pure magic—The Village and The Other Village People showed out in full force this past Sunday at Constitution Hill!

A massive thank you to everyone who came through to turn up the love, dance, and celebrate with us across all our joint Pride activations and festivities. You made the Hill unforgettable!

Bridges of Conscience Across Continents Exhibition

Constitution Hill is proud to partner in the Bridges of Conscience Across Continents exhibition—a powerful celebration of courage, shared history, and solidarity connecting South Africa and Italy.

The exhibition spotlights three remarkable figures whose lives built lasting international bonds: OR Tambo, Giuseppe Soncini, and Dina Forti.

To mark this meaningful partnership, we hosted an activation and presentation session today to discuss future collaborative projects—including the ceremonial planting of a tree to symbolize our rooted connection and growth together.

Junior and Senior Debate League Championships

We had the pleasure of hosting the Junior and Senior Debate League Champions right here at Constitution Hill in partnership with Coach Itu Academy, Mason Steward Legal, and Haleon HealthPartner (HCP)! This inspiring league showcased the brilliance, critical thinking, and articulate voices of young minds who are shaping a remarkably bright future for our country. A huge congratulations to our Junior Champions, Seanamarena High School, and our Senior Champions, Hoërskool Jan De Klerk, for their outstanding performance! A massive thank you to our incredible partners and the dedicated Constitution Hill team for coming together behind the scenes to make this empowering event such a resounding success.
