The Constitutional Court has ruled that property owners can no longer be held liable for historical municipal debt on their property. This puts to bed, once and for all, the confusion regarding the issue.

Zimbabwe-born artist Kudzanai Chiurai’s dual location exhibition, We Live in Silence, tackles difficult subjects such as colonialism and misogyny. The exhibition is to be staged at the Old Fort parade ground at Constitution Hill (opening 6pm on 9 September 2017) and at the Goodman Gallery, Johannesburg (31 August to 14 October).

The popularity of South African National Heritage Site Constitution Hill was reaffirmed at the end of June when the Johannesburg landmark won two sought-after TripAdvisor awards for 2017.
